March 14th, 1955, Montreuil, France — Leap to Victory. In the Anglo-French hill climbing tests in Montreuil, on the outskirts of Paris, Belgian rider Victor Lelou, left, leaped into the lead with this jump to put Frenchman Hazianis into second place. A rainless week coupled with frost made the “track” hard and fast for the motorcyclists.
