Today the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released a report on data roaming charges. It reveals that Canada’s telecom providers charge the highest international data roaming fees of any of the 33 countries. On average Canadians are paying an astounding $24.61 per MB where as in Greece they are paying a mere $4.17. The OECD suspects that this is due to an insufficient amount of competition in Canada’s telecom sector.
