For those who haven’t heard, DOC NYC is a brand new non-fiction festival which will beholding its inaugural event this November 3-9. With a line up of more than 40 films and events, it’s sure to be a great time for fans of documentary filmmaking and non-fiction storytelling. While it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to attend the festival, I certainly wanted to point out to readers that among the great line up of films, Errol Morris’ amazing ‘Tabloid’ will be having its New York City premiere (You can read my review of it here). On top of that, there’s a great line up of features that are definitely worth checking out (including some rare screenings of early Morris and Werner Herzog films). I’ve listed all of the films after the jump. Take a look:

Tabloid is screening at 7:00pm on Sunday, November the 7th at NYU’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased via the DOC NYC website or at the IFC Center box office in NYC.
