Monotonix is the kind of band you’ll never fully appreciate until you see them live, nuts a danglin’ and guitars a janglin’. Which is why we suggest you get down to 285 Kent at 8 PM this Saturday to see them. The show’s all ages and $$ is “TBA.” In case you need more convincing, here’s Monotonix playing one of the tamest, most insurance-minded festivals in North America, and still managing to rip it up:
The other night at their Echoplex show, Shelev made some big song and dance about how they’re all old, tired dads who want to start wearing shirts instead of sweating all over smelly kids at shows. So if the presumably drunken ramblings of a stunt-loving band are to be believed, this might be their last tour. Might also not be their last tour. Better to play it safe though, right? Here are the rest of their US dates, and here’s where you can get their latest release, Not Yet.
And just in case you’re still unsure about the caliber of חגיגה these heebs are bringing to the table, here’s a few pictures of their typical shows, which look like the most fun anyone has ever had at a thing ever.
